The Oldest Dog
I met our neighbours over the long weekend out walking their little JackaPoo dog.
I knew they also, until recently, had a very old dog. After passing pleasantries about the weather I asked where their old dog was. Sadly they had to have her put to sleep as she had become so senile and was blind.
I was utterly astounded when they told me the age the dog had reached, 24 years old!!!!! This is the oldest dog I have ever heard of.
According to the internet the oldest recorded living dog was an Australian cattle dog called Bluey, who was 29 years and 4 months old when he passed away.
Do you know of a dog that has surpassed this and can claim the title of the oldest dog?
