Dog swimming to cool off

Living on the coast affords us the opportunity to spend a great deal of time on the beach, which is perfect for Woody the Schnoodle.  He meets many of his four legged friends in one popular spot.  Today in the UK the weather has been exceptionally hot and humid and many of the dogs were in the water frolicking around and cooling off.

Woody tends to hang back from making the full leap into the water preferring to dip up to his knees and no further.  That is until he fell in whilst taking his eyes off the pathway, he panicked and whilst not in any danger he swam back to shore as if being chased by a shark (not that we have many on our coastline)  He must have swallowed a fair bit of salty old sea water and is feeling a tad off colour now and has put himself to bed.

He won’t live up to the reputation of the dogs who save drowning folk from water danger, we best not take him on our round the world yacht trip, not that we had any plans to, nor do we own a craft of any kind.
