Lettie the rescue Schnauzer has arrived at her forever home, much to the delight of my parents, Pat and Ron.
Following the death, 6 weeks ago, of their beloved dog Lucy, they wanted to fill the void left by offering a much needed home to another dog. Having experience already with Schnauzer ownership, they opted to sign up to the Many Tears Recue organisation.
After a home check, they were invited to meet with Lettie’s foster family to see how my parents male Schnauzer, Dylan, and Lettie got on. It went fantastically well and another meeting was arranged and resulting in Lettie being bought to Southend, her new home.
A long way in distance from the barn she knew from a pup to a breeding female, Lettie has got a lot to learn including accepting love from my parents, who adore the new addition already. Aged 6, Lettie is on the cusp of a whole new world of experiences, but one thing is for sure, she will be so well loved and shown unending kindness within a quiet household.
I will be featuring Lettie’s journey over the next few months.
