Are you looking for Halloween costume ideas for dogs?

Autumn is upon us right now and time for Halloween preparation for the family but should it include the family dog as well?

In the UK we have been slow to engage, however, shops are full to brimming with Halloween goodies.  I have decorated our house, but in comparison to the fabulous displays I have been privalaged to see in the US it pales into insignificance.

Woody will be sporting a pumpkin outfit when guest arrive for trick or treat this Monday.  His costume only cost £1 from one of the ‘cheap and cheerful’  low budget stores on the High Street.

According to Wikipidea the North American tradition of carving of Pumpkins was thought to originate with harvest time and did not become associated with Halloween until the mid to late 19th Century.  In Scotland and Ireland the tradition of carving uses turnips.  Trick or Treating is a customary childrens’ celebration in which they visit homes in ‘guise’ or costume.

Will you or wont you be dressing your four legged friend up in for Halloween?  Take a look at this UK store for cool Halloween costumes for your dog.
