The proud owners of Siaera are delighted to announce the safe arrival of 6 gorgeous schnoodle ‘fur babies’ puppies.  Four of the pups who arrived this morning, 24 February 2014, are female and 2 are boys.  Mum, Siaera is pictured curled up feeding her new brood.  The pups are honeycomb, golden shade colours and are truly beautiful.

Breeder Karen is delighted with the new arrivals and already 3 of the 6 are spoken for.  The pups will be raised in a home environment and Karen’s dogs are all family pets and very much loved and cared for. Siaera is a Black Mini Schnauzer with clear current eye test and the stud dog is Karen’s own Red Poodle called Paddington, Paddy for short, from PRA dna tested clear parents and grandparents.  Both dogs have a wonderful nature.

The picture of the pup (left) is from Karen’s bitch Pandora and he has settled in with his new ‘forever’ family, who enquired through our site and fell in love with him after visiting Karen.

Karen and I started chatting ‘Schnoodles’ 2 years ago when I was planning to add to my own Schnoodle collection.  Unfortunately for me my personal circumstances changed and I wasn’t able to continue with my planned purchase.

Siaera and Paddington are Karen’s beloved family pet and the pups will be raised in a ‘home environment’.

Ted, who is nearly one year old, was a very smelly schnoodle before I bathed him.  Rolling in anything disgusting is Ted’s favourite pastime.  Woody thankfully doesn’t share his delight and resists the temptation.  Bathing to Ted is not a chore, he really enjoys it and he especially enjoys being dried by the hairdryer.

I am pleased to say Ted the smelly schnoodle is no longer smelly, he is giving off soapy vapours and the house no longer stinks of smelly dog, bliss.  Oh how I love that puppy Ted.

Schnoodle brothers Woody and Ted

As you can see from the image below Woody and Ted are very close Schnoodle brothers.  Ted follows Woody all over the place.  They share a large bed and the two are never far apart.  These boys play, sleep and eat together every day and pine for each other if out of site.  Read the rest of this entry »

Ted is now 9 and a half months old and has turned into an adolescent.  He is getting braver and will travel slightly further than before away from me.  He is such a social creature, he doesn’t fear any size dog and will wag his little tail and go up to them to look for other happy dogs to play with.

Sadly I had to have all of his lovely coat cut off and so he is shaved but still looks adorable.  Unlike Woody Ted has a slightly different coat which seems to hoover up all kinds of debris, sticks, leaves and anything horrible.  It didn’t matter how often I groomed his coat, he still had lots of mats in the coat.

Ted and Woody are the best of pals and Woody has been a perfect mentor for Ted.  I couldn’t imagine life without either of the boys.  Whilst writing this post they are both laid at my feet, they are never far from me.

On one of many walks the other day nature was delivering the perfect game for the boys, conker catching.  Here in the UK conkers are falling from the horse chestnut trees.  Woody loves this time of year.  He scoops up conkers, throws them up in the air and chases them as far as you can throw them.  I sat on a bench whilst mother nature dropped conkers from her swaying trees and the boys chased and played for what seems like an age but they were so happy.

Resting now after a large dinner the boys could not be cosier, curled up on the sofa side by side, oh how I love those fur babies.

Karen gave me an update on her litter of Schnoodle puppies, who are now 8 days old.

All the pups are doing well and thriving.  Karen has taken deposits for 7 of the 8 puppies.

Saffron the apricot and White Schnoodle Mummy

Ted has just turned 6 months old this past week.  Where on earth has the time gone?

Woody and Ted are used to me rising early every day of the working week but they tend to forget that the same rules don’t apply of a weekend.  Up at 5.30 the lovely tune of howling and scraping at the stair gate I thought they might lie on the sofa with me until a more reasonable time, oh no, no chance.  I left the back door open and found myself wearing a dead field mouse as part of my nightwear attire, thanks Ted, much appreciated….NOT!!

I am sure I have mentioned it before but this little bundle of blonde schnoodle has given us so much joy and pleasure, I simply cannot imaging life without him.

Only another 6 months until his 1st birthday on 23 December 2013.
